Hundreds of commenters shared similar summons stories, with one response gaining over 26,300 likes; another person described receiving a summons while 41 weeks pregnant.
Fortunately for Badowski, the court excused her from serving on her wedding day, allowing her to proceed with her Italian nuptials without conflict.
Despite the scheduling conflict, Badowski expressed interest in serving on a jury in the future, noting that her engagement and first date both occurred on Mondays.
