Frenchwoman Shirine Boukli won the bronze medal for the -48 kg, this Sunday at the World Judo Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, winning the second world medal of her career.
While the first day of the Worlds had started with disceptions for Luka Mkheidze and Romain Valadier-Picard in the under 60kg, Shirine Boukli went to look for bronze in the under 48kg.
The French woman won bronze for the under 48 kg, after a day when she had long believed in the highest title. In the under 60 kg, the French women won the first medal in Baku. The first medal in Baku was on Le Singulier.
