John Deere named presenting sponsor of MLB game at Field of Dreams
MLB said the third Field of Dreams game will feature retro uniforms and return to the Iowa site for the first time since 2022.
Major League Baseball announced the Philadelphia Phillies will face the Minnesota Twins in the Field of Dreams Game on August 13, 2026, in Dyersville, Iowa. The event returns to the iconic 1989 movie site for the third time.
The league first held this game in 2021 when the Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees, followed by the Chicago Cubs beating the Cincinnati Reds in 2022. The venue has undergone significant renovations and expansion since that last matchup.
Unveiled on Monday, the Phillies will wear cream-colored 1939-inspired uniforms, while the Twins showcase all-white gear featuring navy pinstripes and a "Minnie and Paul" sleeve patch. Both teams revealed designs on social media.
John Deere serves as presenting sponsor, integrating the brand into broadcast and fan experiences. Jen Hartmann, director of brand management at John Deere, said the company is "proud to partner with MLB" to honor farming roots.
The John Deere Foundation's "Big Hits. Bigger Impact." campaign will donate 1 million meals to Feeding America. John Deere will also co-host a volunteer event with MLB Together to pack approximately 260,000 meals for families across Iowa.
