Jo Co Commission Revisits IRS Mileage Rate

At the request of County Clerk Jackie Camino, the Johnson County Commission revisited the Internal Revenue Service mileage rate to be used by county employees. Clerk Camino spoke on the issue, asking the commission to adopt the same rate as the federal government. After discussion, the commission voted to approve the increase in the mileage rate to 76 cents per mile, effective with the current vouchers submitted to be paid.
