25 Years of ‘Bleed American’
The one-night show will feature full-album performances of Bleed American and Dog Problems as both bands mark major anniversaries.
- The Arizona bands Jimmy Eat World and The Format announced a joint performance at the Hollywood Bowl on Nov 7, marking their first shared stage appearance in Los Angeles.
- Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Jimmy Eat World's 2001 album, Bleed American, and the 20th anniversary of The Format's 2006 record, Dog Problems, both bands will perform these albums in their entirety.
- Reunited in 2025, The Format, led by Nate Ruess and Sam Means, released their comeback album, Boycott Heaven, after their long hiatus following Dog Problems.
- Jimmy Eat World is currently commemorating Bleed American with a 25th anniversary tour. Earlier this month, the Recording Industry Association of America awarded the album double-platinum certification.
