- Johnson remains the majority owner of Legacy, which he co-owns with Knighthead Capital Management; drivers Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek compete for the team's two full-time Cup Series cars.
- High-Profile investors joining the team include Scott Dixon, Dario Franchitti, National League MVP Bryce Harper, Tony Kanaan, Andy Roddick, Kelly Slater, and MLB All-Star Chase Utley.
- "This is not a traditional ownership group," Johnson said, noting the team aims to build a modern motorsports organization competing at the highest level while expanding relevance across media and partnerships.
