Jeremy Clarkson business in liquidation almost complete
Companies House filings show £4,373.44 was paid in the latest period as the company’s remaining work becomes administrative before closure.
New Companies House filings indicate W Chump and Sons Limited is nearing the end of its liquidation process. The Jeremy Clarkson-owned company entered voluntary liquidation in 2024 after the Grand Tour production ended.
Amazon contracted the firm in 2015 to produce the Grand Tour. Founded by Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond, and Andy Wilman, the company name utilized the German word "Und." for the 'and' in their acronym.
The four directors—Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond, and Andy Wilman—are set to receive roughly £24 million in assets. They previously approved a fixed liquidators' fee of £10,000 plus VAT to manage the closure.
Companies House records show no outstanding creditor claims and the company's assets have largely been distributed to shareholders. A final cash distribution occurred in the period to April 2026, marking conclusion of financial obligations.
Clarkson has shifted focus toward other ventures, including running the Diddly Squat farm and its farm shop. He also operates The Farmer's Dog on the A40 near Burford following the company's closure.
