It took 40 years, on Sunday Elfriede Jelinek's "Burgtheater" landed in the Burgtheater: In the context of the Wiener Festwochen, Intendant Milo Rau has created a mixture of multimedia making-of with depth and key scenes from Jelinek's text. In the centre, an excellent ensemble that brings the former theatre scandal into today with great joy and seriousness. Big cheer was finished by a minute of silence for Elisabeth Orth.
