This year, she won't be carrying medals, but a stroller. Javelin thrower Nikola Ogrodníková is a new mother. She gave birth to a son, whom she and her partner and Třinec hockey player Petr Vrána named Jáchym.

"I am a mom, we are a family. Jáchym Vrána. Our little boy, who was born three weeks early," Ogrodníková wrote in a series of photos from the maternity hospital.
