Jason Sudeikis reveals 'rawest' way Ted Lasso has saved him: 'Flat out'
Actor Jason Sudeikis appeared recently on the podcast Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso to discuss potential future seasons of Ted Lasso, noting he "would like to" continue the show.
Initially, Sudeikis believed the hit series would conclude with Season three, but he returned for a surprise Season four that premiered in August this year after finding creative inspiration.
Addressing public coverage of his 2020 split from ex-fiancée Olivia Wilde, the actor stated it missed "a million little things," adding that Ted Lasso "saved" him from "some form of self-harm."
Apple TV has not officially renewed the show, leaving future seasons uncertain. Sudeikis stressed "it takes a village" to produce the series, noting "We haven't started a writers' room."
Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard, expressed optimism about the show's return, though no official confirmation has occurred. The Season four finale was labeled a season finale, not a series finale.
