Why LEGO Just Announced It Will Sponsor an F1 Academy Team for the 2026 Season
Lego will field a branded car driven by Esmee Kosterman in the 2026 all-female F1 Academy and sell a matching toy set to inspire young girls in motorsport.
- Next year the Lego Group will field a Lego-liveried car in F1 Academy driven by Dutch driver Esmee Kosterman and produce a Lego set of the car.
- Building on earlier activations, the Lego Group's F1 partnership launched at last year's Las Vegas Grand Prix and announced during this year's event includes life-size cars and brick trophies.
- Decked in a yellow, pink, blue and black livery, the Lego Racing entry will compete alongside cars backed by all of F1's teams, including a new Cadillac car next year.
- The Danish company will produce and sell the Lego set as part of a push to engage young girls in motorsport from a young age, while Susie Wolff, managing director of F1 Academy, welcomed The Lego Group as an Official Partner.
- Beyond the track, Lego's partnership continues high-profile Lego activations and aims to empower young female participants and builders through commercial and promotional activity around F1 Academy next year.
