Today, the District Court for Prague 8 found psychiatrist Jan Cimický, accused of rape and blackmail, guilty. He sentenced him to five years in prison and a 10-year ban. He found him guilty on all counts. The judgment is not final, the plaintiff and the doctor can appeal to the Municipal Court in Prague. Cimicky is not personally present at the announcement of the verdict.

The court found Jan Cimický guilty of four counts of rape and 35 cases of extortion. According to him, the psychiatrist committed all the acts that the indictment accused him of. He imposed an unconditional five-year prison sentence and a ten-year ban on the doctor. The judgment is not binding yet, Cimický has appealed.
