The airline ITA Airways has announced an expansion of its connections with India and Thailand for the summer season this year, with the aim of responding to demand between Italy and the East. According to the company in a statement, in August 2026, the direct flight between Rome-Fiumicino and Bangkok will go from three to five frequencies per week, while the route between Rome-Fiumicino and Delhi will become daily with seven frequencies per week.
