Presidential Defence Industry Head Haluk Görgün announced that domestic helicopter projects have contributed over $35 billion to the Turkish economy. With the first T625 GÖKBEY delivery to the General Directorate of Security, the project volume in the sector exceeded $150 billion, and the domestic content rate surpassed 83 percent.
Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi informed that a total of 18 GÖKBEY helicopters will participate in the inventory of the Police Service, while the first helicopter is ready for delivery. “GÖKBEY, which will further advance the possibilities and capabilities of our organization, will increase the reach, speed and effectiveness of our state in the field,” Minister Çiftçi said.
