Israeli Attacks Across Gaza Kill Five Palestinians, Wound 32
Hospitals and civil defence said 15 people were wounded as Israeli drone strikes and gunfire hit Rafah, Khan Yunis and northern Gaza.
Israeli airstrikes across Gaza killed at least five Palestinians on Wednesday, including a drone strike in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah that wounded 15, according to Gaza's civil defence agency.
These attacks followed Tuesday's Knesset elections, which produced no clear winner, as the Israeli military continued relentless strikes in the Strip despite a ceasefire deal signed in October 2025.
In Khan Younis, a drone hit a rooftop, killing 33-year-old Mohammed Alyan al-Bayouk, while another strike targeted a Gaza Economy Ministry facility at the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Asked for comment, the Israeli military said "we struck terrorists in the area," while civil defence reported one additional death in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Since the ceasefire deal signed in October 2025, the Israeli military has killed at least 1,568 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 5,649, according to the health ministry.
Five people were killed this Wednesday in Israeli attacks in various parts of the Gaza Strip, the emergency services in the Palestinian territory and local hospitals reported.
The Israeli occupying forces - Thursday - continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, through shelling and shooting, in various areas of the Strip.
