Palestinian forensic experts are working to identify 120 bodies returned to Gaza by Israel marked only with numbers, some of whom were blindfolded, bound at the hands and feet, or bearing gunshot wounds.

As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel handed over 30 Palestinian bodies in the southern Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of bodies returned to 120. According to the Jewish state, Hamas still holds 19 dead Israeli hostages and has failed to meet its ceasefire commitments.
