- Entering at around 10:00 PM, militants attacked the diocesan health center run by the Sisters of the Presentation, set the facility ablaze, looted medical supplies and fled into the forest while the DRC army pursued.
- The attack destroyed the clinic and twenty-seven nearby homes, killing fifteen in the clinic and five in the surrounding area, while villagers flee and sisters assist survivors on the streets, and newborns are believed kidnapped.
