(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Despite hoping for early intervention, patients decided to give up their operating rooms to give a chance of survival to critically ill patients requiring urgent organ transplants.

The family of a 32-year-old young man who "passed away" decided to donate his organs, giving life to his fellow human beings. The donation took place in the early hours of Thursday, with the participation of the medical and nursing staff of the University General Hospital of Ioannina (PGNI), the surgical team of the Hippocratic Hospital of Thessaloniki and under the coordination of the National Transplant Organization.
