Weather France has issued an orange rain, floods, and thunderstorm vigilance for the Department of Herault
Less than a week after major floods, rain will fall again in quantity on the two Mediterranean departments.
The two departments of Occitanie will experience a new Mediterranean episode from 22:00, warns Météo France. Last week, the weather caused the authorities to close schools and interrupt public transport, especially in Montpellier.
The Gard will be affected by this alert level until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, while the Hérault will return in yellow from 6 a.m.
"Rails under local severe thunderstorms, even whirlpool phenomena, hail, with sustained electric activity, are to be expected [in the course of] this episode," said Météo-France in his morning bulletin.
