On Saturday night, the Indiana Hoosiers extended their winning streak to 21 games, routing the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 47-15 at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey, to improve to 5-0.
Indiana's rushing attack amassed 339 yards, led by Turbo Richard, who ran for 204 yards and a touchdown, averaging 15.7 yards per carry on 13 carries.
Quarterback Josh Hoover delivered his most complete performance, completing 20-of-27 passes for 251 yards and four touchdowns, including a 48-yard connection with Charlie Becker.
While the Hoosiers' defense held Rutgers scoreless in the first half, the unit showed "lingering concerns" in the second half, despite strong efforts from Stephen Daley and Tobi Osunsanmi.
