Growth expectations for global steel demand have been lowered. The World Steel Association forecasts that demand will remain flat in 2026 due to the impact of the real estate crisis in China, and has also lowered its 2027 forecast. However, a different picture emerges for Turkey. Despite the slowdown in the global market, steel demand in Türkiye is expected to continue increasing. 🚆
