From AI Homes to Robots, ‘The Future Is Now’… Europe’s Largest Consumer Electronics Exhibition Opens
The International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA), celebrating its 102nd anniversary, opened its doors in Berlin, Germany, on the 4th (local time). Starting on the 3rd, the day before the opening, the interior of the exhibition hall, Messe Berlin, was bustling with preparations by companies ahead of the show. The slogan for this year's exhibition is "The future is now."
Just a few dozen hours before the official start of the largest technology fair in Europe, IFA 2026, the Berlin exhibition center does not look at all prepared for such a festive event. Instead of crowds of visitors, there are pallets, wooden boxes, cables, ladders and craftsmen who are just building magnificent exhibitions. It used to be called "smart", today it's AI. Almost every piece of technology that can be seen at the exhibition center in Berlin from Friday has this epithet.
