IDOC Worker Pleads Guilty in Payroll Fraud Scheme

A former Illinois Department of Corrections payroll employee has pleaded guilty to defrauding the state of nearly $125,000. Federal prosecutors say 34 year old Maggi Tudor admitted falsifying overtime and holiday pay records for her correctional officer husband over a two-and-a-half-year period. Tudor agreed to repay nearly $125,000 and is scheduled to be sentenced November 9 in federal court in Benton.
