Vratislav Ďurech and his wife Aneta went to America to fulfill their long-standing dream – to travel North and Central America and go on an ice climbing expedition. However, it was during this trip that the experienced climber suffered a serious injury. While descending from an ice wall in Colorado, he fell from a height of approximately 40 meters. He survived, but the extent of his injuries is very serious.
