Boston Legacy FC announced on Wednesday a multi-year sleeve agreement with Hyundai Motor America, placing Hyundai branding on the right sleeve for all 2026 NWSL season matches.
Hyundai Motor America framed the deal as part of its 'Progress for Humanity' vision and a commitment to growing women's sports, including its role as official Mobility partner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Marketing elements include use of marks on authentic jerseys and game day and social media integrations, sourced by Excel Sports Management's Properties division and involving INNOCEAN USA, with launch featuring a Hyundai IONIQ 5 N and players showcasing skills.
This deal marks the club's first-ever sleeve partnership and Hyundai Motor America's first NWSL jersey sponsorship, expanding U.S. visibility amid Hyundai's planned $26 billion investments.
Jennifer van Dijk, team president, Boston Legacy FC, said Hyundai framed the partnership as demonstrating the commercial power of women's professional soccer and coincided with National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
