Hundreds of flights delayed at Denver airport ahead of New Year’s Eve

Snowfall and holiday travel caused 310 delays and 10 cancellations at Denver International Airport, with Southwest Airlines reporting 132 delayed flights, FlightAware data shows.

More than 300 flights headed in and out of Denver International Airport on Monday failed to leave the gate on time as the busy holiday travel season continued nationwide. As of 1:40 p.m. Monday, 310 flights had been delayed and 10 had been canceled, according to flight tracking software FlightAware.
