A stronger storm line will reach western Slovenia. Stronger downpours and gusts of wind are likely as it passes.
We are celebrating the hot summer weather, which in recent months has also brought the hottest meteorological summer ever in our country. In the west, storms with strong gusts of wind and downpours may occur in the morning, which is why the Slovenian Environmental Agency (Arso) has issued an orange weather warning for this part of the country. On Thursday, it will be cloudy and rainy everywhere and noticeably colder.
On Wednesday morning and during the day, especially in the western half of Slovenia, there will be possible stronger storms with strong gusts of wind and downpours, the Information Centre of the Republic of Slovenia announced. On Thursday, it will then cool down considerably and "smell" of autumn.
