Due to the de facto closed road of Hormus, Europe is already facing a critical bottleneck of oil from 10 April. A study by the US major bank JP Morgan shows this.
Soon after the attack of Israel and the USA at the end of February, Iran blocked the Strait of Hormus. They are allowed to pass only ships "more friendly" countries, and this under special and sometimes opaque conditions for shipowners. They are now also buying detours around half the globe. A U.S. ultimatum to Iran ends on Monday.
