- Public records indicate a contract worth up to US$2.8 million involves New York-based Seneca Strategic Partners LLC providing "social media management platform Hootsuite and support services" through 2029. Seneca is a federal contracting business owned by the Seneca Nation of Indians.
- Defending the company's government contracts, Novoselsky stated Hootsuite's use-case "does not include tracking or surveillance of individuals." She noted the company has worked with government organizations for more than 15 years.
- Prioritizing artificial intelligence, Holmes plans to build on the company's foundation, citing "early traction" in the area. He stated he is "excited to be back and defining the next AI-driven era of Hootsuite.
