The arrested naval personnel is named Pradeep Mukherjee. He is a resident of West Bengal. Pradeep joined the Navy as a Soldier in 2014. He was working at the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. About a week ago, he went to take training for the Management Development Course at INS Agrani at Red Fields in Coimbatore.

An Indian Navy sailor who was allegedly passing classified information to the Pakistani Intelligence Agency (PIO) has been arrested in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Mobile and digital devices have been seized from Rajesh, a native of Andhra Pradesh, who was caught in a honeytrap, and a joint investigation is underway by central intelligence agencies and Tamil Nadu Police.
