Holyoke School Committee names longtime district leader Jackie Glasheen as superintendent

HOLYOKE ― The Holyoke School Committee on Thursday selected Assistant Superintendent Jacqueline Glasheen as the district’s next superintendent, marking the first locally chosen leader of Holyoke Public Schools in more than a decade. She is expected to begin July 1, pending contract negotiations.
