The government amends the support scheme for transporters, replacing the fixed reduction of 85 dollars per litre of diesel with a variable calculation system. The new aid will be correlated directly with the decrease in excise duty and will be granted in three stages: 71, 57 or 43 dollars/litre.

On Thursday, the Government approved the HG amendment establishing the State aid scheme to compensate for the increase in the price of diesel fuel, so that "the value of the excise refund granted to carriers will be determined in relation to the national rate of reduction of excise duty".
The government reduces aid for transporters to 71, 57 or 43 dollars per litre, after diesel has exceeded 10 lei in Bucharest.
