The German manufacturer of Heckler & Koch light weapons reported a record profit on Monday in the first half of the year, in the context of the company continuing to benefit from the increase in NATO defence budgets following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, DPA informs.
Heckler & Koch once threatened the bankruptcy, now the profit has more than tripled. A large-scale Bundeswehr order promises revenues for years.
