IPMA raised to 17 the number of districts on yellow notice until 21:00
There were 14 districts on notice, but the IPMA rose to 17. The yellow warning is the least serious of a three-scale and is issued whenever there is a risk situation.

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) today raised the number of districts under yellow warning from 14 to 17 until 9 p.m., with the exception of Viana do Castelo.
In Bragança, Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Leiria, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga, the IPMA warns of the occurrence of thunderstorms, heavy precipitation and bursts between 70 and 90 km/h.
