The city of Viana do Castelo was filled today with a thousand women at the Mordomia Parade of the Romaria d’Agonia, who paraded through the streets in traditional attire and gleaming gold on their chests. According to VianaFestas, the association that organizes the Romaria, the thousand places available for the 2026 edition were sold out in two days, “demonstrating the desire to participate in the parade”.
