Haris reprimanded, England fined after Lahore ODI
On Wednesday, the International Cricket Council fined Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf 20 per cent of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during Sunday's one-day international in Lahore.
The incident occurred during the 46th over when Rauf argued with England all-rounder Will Jacks after appealing for a wide, then brushed past umpire Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid despite a warning.
Pakistan eventually clinched a dramatic one-wicket win with 17 balls remaining; Shadab Khan scored an unbeaten 113 and shared an unbroken 89-run partnership with Rauf for the 10th wicket.
Both Rauf and England captain Harry Brook accepted their sanctions from match referee Jeff Crowe, while England were also fined 15 per cent of their match fees for a slow over-rate.
Rauf, 32, received one demerit point for his third offence within a 24-month period, while Pakistan prepares to face Sri Lanka in the tri-series final on October 31.
