Hanwha Life Marks Third Consecutive Year of Supporting 'Vietnam Informatics Olympiad' Advancing AI Talent Development
The company said the AI track has become a platform for nurturing talent, while it plans an exchange program for Vietnamese students in August.
- On April 14, 2026, Hanwha Life announced the conclusion of the 7th Vietnam Informatics Olympiad, held April 10 to 12 at the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology in Da Nang.
- Hanwha Life has sponsored the event for three consecutive years as part of its Future Plus corporate social responsibility initiative; the VKU is a 4-year ICT university established in 2007 with support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency .
- Featuring tracks for Artificial Intelligence, IT Major, and Non-IT Majors, the competition advanced its AI track this year. Lim Suk Hyun, Head of Corporate Planning Division at Hanwha Life, and VKU President Huynh Cong Phap attended the finals.
- "The Informatics Olympiad offers an opportunity for next-generation IT talents who will lead Vietnam's future to fully showcase their potential," added Huynh Cong Phap. Participants accessed career counseling and hands-on job experience at booths across campus.
- An exchange program for Vietnamese university students is planned by Hanwha Life this August, featuring academic conferences, hackathons, and fellowship opportunities to help participants grow into key drivers of Vietnam's financial and ICT industries.
