The 35th Hanse Sail was officially opened in Rostock-Warnemünde on Thursday afternoon. The starting signal for the four-day maritime event was given promptly at 4 p.m. The event extends across several areas of the city and into Warnemünde. The focus is on more than 120 traditional ships from seven nations.

People staring at ships: The 35th Hanse Sail is currently taking place in Rostock. From Thursday to Sunday 118 participating ships can be seen at the ports of the Hanseatic City and can also be sailed.
