Oregon Lumber Mainstay to Build $225M Sawmill in S. Carolina

ALLENDALE COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA, JUN 24 – Hampton Lumber's $225 million investment will create at least 125 jobs and produce Southern Yellow Pine lumber to meet rising housing material demand, company officials said.

Portland-based Hampton Lumber will build its first sawmill outside the Pacific Northwest in S. Carolina.
