The FBI probes a deadly shooting that left two dead and 14 injured outside a busy Texas bar, with the gunman displaying Iranian imagery on his clothing, officials said.
- On Sunday, Ndiaga Diagne, 53, opened fire outside Buford's Backyard Beer Garden near the University of Texas at Austin, killing two victims and wounding 14 others.
- FBI San Antonio acting agent Alex Doran said, `Our ultimate goal in everything we do is to determine the motive,` as investigators treat the attack as a potential act of terrorism, and both agencies say it's too soon to identify a motive.
- He drove past the packed bar, circled back and fired from his SUV at people before parking, exiting with a rifle, and continuing to shoot while wearing clothing with Iranian-flag design and `Property of Allah`; he legally bought the weapons several years ago in San Antonio.
- Investigators are poring over thousands of hours of video and police said there are more than 150 witnesses to interview as the probe continues.
- Associated Press reporters on Monday could not reach the gunman's family members in Austin or his former wife, who recently was listed near San Antonio, while police identified victims as Savitha Shan, 21, and Ryder Harrington, 19.
