Several France Inter columnists announced their departure in solidarity with the comedian fired on Tuesday 11 June for “serious misconduct”.

Comedian Guillaume Meurice, fired from France Inter, published a letter on Wednesday declaring all his love for the station, but also his concern for freedom of expression and a future “privatization” of the media. In his wake, several other columnists have slammed the door shut in recent hours.

The day after his dismissal by Radio France, comedian Guillaume Meurice expressed himself on the X network in a letter to his former editorial team. He points to a 'brutal' decision.
