Comedian Guillaume Meurice, fired from France Inter, published a letter on Wednesday declaring all his love for the station, but also his concern for freedom of expression and a future “privatization” of the media. In his wake, several other columnists have slammed the door shut in recent hours.
Dismissed by Radio France for reiterating his polemical remarks about Benjamin Netanyahu, the comedian Guillaume Meurice considers that the “extreme right” has won an “ideological victory”.
