DC’s Old Post Office Building, a Former Trump Hotel, Sold to Current Leaseholder

The sale keeps the clock tower open to the public and preserves artwork ownership, while GSA says taxpayers lost about $6 million a year before redevelopment.

The Old Post Office, a Pennsylvania Avenue landmark now home to the Waldorf Astoria hotel and high-end restaurants, has been sold to BDT & MSD Partners, the General Services Administration announced Wednesday.
