Bonnie Tyler's Final Song to Be Released 4 Months After Singers Death
The posthumous track was written by Chrissie Hammond and Terry Britten and produced by Britten and David Mackay, who worked with Tyler early in her career.
On November 13, 2026, the final studio recording by late singer Bonnie Tyler, titled "Love, Light and Peace," will be released as a Christmas single.
Written by Chrissie Hammond and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Terry Britten, the track reunites Tyler with Britten and producer David Mackay, who worked with her at the start of her career.
Her husband of 50 years, former Olympic judo athlete Robert Sullivan, said Tyler "poured her whole heart into these songs" while recording via Zoom and studio visits.
Tyler, born Gaynor Hopkins, died in July at age 75 in Portugal following emergency intestinal surgery, leaving a legacy of 50 years and 18 studio albums.
Best known for the 1983 power ballad "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and 1984's "Holding Out for a Hero," the Welsh singer earned three Grammy and three Brit Award nominations.
