- A brief pursuit ensued, with officers stopping the vehicle near North Monroe Avenue and Pine Street using a pursuit intervention technique ; four officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
- The driver was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Brown County Sheriff's Office is assisting the investigation while the officer remains on administrative leave.
