GRANITE CITY – A Granite City man faces financial exploitation charges in Madison County after allegedly stealing over $2,000 from an elderly individual earlier this year. William C. Spicer III, 19, of Granite City, was charged on Oct. 1, 2026 with two counts of unlawful financial exploitation of an elderly person and one count of theft of property over $500, each Class 3 felonies.
