On Friday 24 April, the Italian government had to review a controversial measure of its draft security law, after a heated controversy launched by the opposition, the legal professions and the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. The measure concerned a bonus of 615 euros for any lawyer assisting a migrant in the proceedings of voluntary repatriation.
