“Girls are discouraged from studying.” The share of women in the IT sector in Slovakia lags behind the European average

The gender gap in the IT sector in Slovakia is behind the European average, which represents 19 percent compared to the domestic 15 percent. Attracting female talent to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is important to create an inclusive culture. The American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia informed this on the occasion of International Women's Day in IT.
