Ghinea: Romania's last payment request approved by the European Commission is December 2022. The application for payment number 3 of the PNRR has not yet been approved by the EC

Payment request number 3 in the RRSP has still not been approved by the European Commission due to failure to meet commitments related to energy investments, depoliticisation and professionalisation of the management of state energy companies and the selection of the management of the agency that monitors state enterprises (AMEPIP), said Cristian Ghinea, co-ordinator of the USR's Department of Public Policy.
