Despite the widespread criticism, I'd like to speak up for daylight saving time. Isn't it wonderful that from mid-April onwards it's already light again until 8 p.m.? Time after work for gardening, enjoying the spring sunshine on the balcony, and practicing your favorite sport while it's still. If it were up to the opponents of daylight saving time, half of Austria would now be switching back.
