Georgia DNR releases identity of drowning victim at Shoal Creek Campground

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has identified the man who drowned Thursday afternoon at Shoal Creek Campground on Lake Lanier. The victim was Glenn Cunningham, 60, of Buford. Georgia DNR game wardens, Hall County Fire Rescue and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office responded around 3:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a possible drowning at the Hall County park.
